Day 13: MIT Make in India
After a fun night, we all woke up early for a delicious breakfast. Then we drove to a tea plantation (Chingy and I still cursed with bad views from the bus, though we did enjoy all the leg room ever). The tea plantation was called Harrison’s, and we were shown the factory and how tea went from picking it into the tea leaves we all know.

Our cute shoe covers that for some reason we wore outside then went inside.

Quote of the day: “You know, you can’t roll that.”
Then the bus rode further down to the spice garden which talked about a lot of aryuvedic spices.
We ate lunch after a super long wait and not a very fun time. Chingy smells the cardamom.
It was a really long drive, filled with lots of Malika’s little naps and head bobbing. It felt like it was three more hours for the past 6 hours. We had a great dinner in Alleppey, more naps, and finally reached back to the house at about midnight. And Kristin learned that a cheeseburger is actually buns with cheese.
